Horizont Poreč Sailing Club is the only sailing club in Poreč that conducts sailing schools with licensed instructors on small and medium-sized sailboats. Our sailing school is one of the largest in Istria County with over 100+ participants throughout the summer. The camp school is designed to last for 4 days, which you can but don't have to take consecutively. Each course is scheduled for 90 minutes, and over the course of 4 days, participants will go through 4 different phases of sailing learning: Beginner 1 - Introduction to sailing; Beginner 2 - Maneuvering; Intermediate 1 - Control and recovery; Intermediate 2 - I'm (almost) a skipper! The course is designed and adapted for all ages, including children and parents. Participants will sail on various types of sailboats during the course, and depending on the number of participants, it may be possible to organize a mini regatta in Optimist or Laser classes. The course price may vary depending on the number of participants.

- Important informations
Beginner, intermediate or advanced. All level of sailors are welcomed.
The program includes 4 training sessions with experienced sailing instructors. The price includes all associated costs such as the coaches' work, fuel for the motorboat, all consumable equipment, sailing manuals, certificates, and club T-shirts for all participants.
Participants should bring a sun hat, sunscreen, swim trunks, spare clothing, a water bottle, and a towel.
- Health & Safety
Each person is required to wear a suitable life jacket provided by our instructors throughout their stay at sea. Regardless of swimming ability, the life jacket must not be removed during the entire stay at sea.
Depending on the conditions, sailing in strong winds can be very enjoyable, but also potentially dangerous if not approached with caution. For this reason, our instructors reserve the right to cancel the course in case of unfavorable weather conditions.
