Join us for an immersive week-long violin, viola, cello and double bass camp set in the picturesque medieval town of Grožnjan, Croatia.
Open to players of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to professionals, our programme offers a diverse range of learning opportunities. Participants have the freedom to select and explore solo and chamber music repertoires of their choice.
Daily intensive sessions with experienced professors focus on individual and chamber classes, providing the perfect environment for improving playing technique and artistic development. Workshops include orchestral, rhythm, and improvisation sessions, as well as the chance to play in various chamber formations and double bass ensembles.
Selected students will also have the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Jeunesses Musicales Croatia Chamber Orchestra. The orchestral workshops will be open only to students of an advanced playing level (grade 5 and above). Bass ensembles and rhythm and improvisation workshops will be divided into various groups depending on playing levels. Individual lessons will be adapted to the student’s abilities and will concentrate on technique, style, interpretation and musical awareness.

- Important information
- Accommodation is provided on the premises of the Center. The Center has several student houses (multi-bed dorm rooms with shared bathrooms).
- Participation does not include the price of meals. Meals are provided at special rates for workshop participants on the premises of the International Cultural Center, according to the option(s) selected in the application form.
- The prices are: breakfast: €15; lunch: €22; dinner: €22; full board: €44 per day.
- After the final production on 01 September 2026, we will organize a gathering and diploma ceremony, so please plan your departure from Grožnjan after all events are finished or on the following morning, 02 September 2026.
- Upon arrival to Grožnjan, participants will have to present their passport or ID card, the original application form with a handwritten signature and/or parent's signature (depending on the participant's age), and proof of payment.
- Along with personal items (towel, appropriate clothing for public performances, instrument, music stand), please bring proof of travel insurance.

Individual lessons
9:00–13:00 accompaniment sessions, group work on technical issues, sight-reading, lectures by course participants, concerts with discussion involving mentors and all participants, as well as daily school orchestra rehearsals from 16:00 to 20:00.
