Overnight Camp
The saxophone camp is open for participants of all skill levels, including beginners, students, and young professionals. According to the needs and wishes of each participant, we can work on basic techniques such as breath control, embouchure or finger velocity.
Students and young professionals have an opportunity to master or develop a range of extensive techniques and special effects on the saxophone: multiphonics, subtone, slap-tongue, altissimo register, etc.
To enhance interpretation skills, participants are expected to prepare at least two pieces from the classical saxophone repertoire, which are to be played with an official piano accompanist. Chamber music will be practiced and performed in various saxophone ensembles. Different aspects of stage performance will also be discussed and practised during the course.

- Important information
- Accommodation is provided on the premises of the Center. The Center has several student houses (multi-bed dorm rooms with shared bathrooms).
- Participation does not include the price of meals. Meals are provided at special rates for workshop participants on the premises of the International Cultural Center, according to the option(s) selected in the application form.
- The prices are: breakfast: €15; lunch: €22; dinner: €22; full board: €44 per day.
- After the final production on 30 August 2026, we will organize a gathering and diploma ceremony, so please plan your departure from Grožnjan after all events are finished or on the following morning, 31 August 2026.
- Upon arrival to Grožnjan, participants will have to present their passport or ID card, the original application form with a handwritten signature and/or parent's signature (depending on the participant's age), and proof of payment.
- Along with personal items (towel, appropriate clothing for public performances, instrument, music stand), please bring proof of travel insurance.
- Health and safety
