Outdoor Camp by Il Bosco Colorato

The camp is centred on nurturing core human values such as respect for nature, animals and other people, while fostering creativity, communication and self-confidence through experiences of self-sufficiency and living in harmony with nature. We give children the freedom to explore and encourage them to embrace spontaneity and curiosity. In the oak woodland, they discover local plants and wildlife, get their hands dirty, observe earthworms, dig in the soil, climb trees, lie beneath the canopy and, with their eyes closed, listen to the birds singing. Children enjoy direct contact with nature as they tell stories, create imaginative tales together, make puppets from branches and wood, create leaf and branch prints on paper and model with clay. In short, they connect with nature in a fun, creative and unconventional way. Children will take part in a variety of workshops, including:

movement and dance sessions, nature exploration, storytelling and sewing;
discovering local heritage; music therapy workshops; surprise guest visits; clay modelling and caring for animals.

Fresh fruit and lunch are included in the camp fee. Lunch is vegetarian on four days of the week, while on Fridays children are served a vegetable-based meal with fish.

We source our ingredients from local family farms and producers.
