Basketball camp

For the fifth consecutive year, the Poreč Basketball Club is organising a summer basketball camp in Lanterna. The uniqueness of our previous camps lies in the fact that they are the result of many years of collaboration with Croatian basketball clubs with a long tradition in the sport, which has also fostered friendships between cities and clubs. The camp is supported by the City of Poreč and the Poreč Sports Association. Over the past years it has been visited by renowned basketball players such as Dino Rađa and Ivana Dojkić. In addition to basketball, the camp places an emphasis on education regarding healthy eating and habits for athletes, as well as on sportsmanship, competitive spirit and appropriate behaviour for all participants. Our camp is open to everyone and our coaches and staff are engaged throughout the day in supervising the children. Thus, since last year, in addition to club members, children from abroad who are spending their summer in Lanterna have also been welcomed. They are welcome this year as well. Participants will also take part in special activities, including a surprise excursion, while free time between training sessions and workshops will be filled with fun activities. Accommodation for camp participants and staff will be provided in Lanterna apartments. There is also the option of accommodation for parents or other accompanying adults. The camp includes six full board stays with overnight accommodation, seven days of training, two training sessions per day, an excursion, two T-shirts for each participant, a basketball as a gift, medals for competition winners and certificates for all participants.
