Join us for an immersive violin camp catering to all levels – from beginners to experienced amateurs and music students. With a focus on technique, interpretation, and musical development, our programme offers individual lessons, coaching sessions, group work and rehearsals, all in a supportive environment.

Our goal is to enhance your skills, foster analytical practice methods, and nurture musical expression. Led by experienced pedagogues and professors, our camp provides tailored guidance and opportunities for personal growth.

Whether you're preparing for auditions or competitions, or simply seeking to improve your violin playing, our camp is just the place for you. Prepare two contrasting pieces and join us for an enriching musical experience.

Weekly overnight camp

Price, including accommodation - 480 €. Early-bird price (30 days prior to start date) -420 €.

Transportation included - from Buje (upon request)

Parent supervision required for the youngest participants

  • Važne informacije
    • Accommodation is provided on the premises of the Center. The Center has several student houses (multi-bed dorm rooms with shared bathrooms).
    • Participation does not include the price of meals. Meals are provided at special rates for workshop participants on the premises of the International Cultural Center, according to the option(s) selected in the application form.
    • The prices are: breakfast: €10; lunch: €15; dinner: €15; full board: €32 per day.
    • After the final production on 29 June 2024, we will organise a social event and a diploma ceremony.
    • Upon arrival to Grožnjan, participants will have to present their passport or ID card, the original application form with a handwritten signature and/or parent's signature (depending on the participant's age), and proof of payment.
    • Along with personal items (towel, appropriate clothing for public performances, instrument, music stand), please bring proof of travel insurance.
    • Please prepare two contrasting pieces or a concert movement, i.e. sonata, etude, or scale.
  • Health and safety

    Every participant must have travel insurance.

Camp participants are expected to arrive in Grožnjan in the afternoon of 30 July 2024 and depart on 5 August 2024.

Wednesday - Sunday

Individual lessons: 9 AM – 1 PM
Afternoon coaching sessions, group work on technical issues, sight-reading, student presentations, concerts with mentor and participant discussions, and daily school orchestra rehearsals: 4–8 PM
