The Field School of Hvar is a half-day/full-day summer enrichment program in English for children ages 6-13 from around the world.
Explore science, art, and history through play on one of the most beautiful islands in the world.The program takes place in the beaches, cobbled streets, and vineyards of Jelsa, an idyllic seaside town on the Mediterranean island of Hvar, which holds the most UNESCO heritages of any island in Europe.
The teaching team includes a marine biologist, a fine artist, an ethnobotanist, an a ambient music composer, and child-centric educators from around the world.
Each day includes:
+ A healthy snack in the morning and a plant-based picnic in the evening, prepared by a local restaurant
+ An hour of studio art focused on the natural world, supported by a trained fine artist
+ An hour of classic English-language children's stories, science books, and art journals
+ An hour of STEAM workshops (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)
+ Week-long team challenges
+ Field games
+ Singing and dancing

Participants should bring a sun hat, sunscreen, swim trunks, spare clothing, a water bottle, and a towel.

The Field School provides parents with a handbook covering health and safety policies in detail.
