At the Robokacija STEM Junior Camp, children explore the world of technology through play, movement and creative tasks. They get to know Edison robots, enhance them with LEGO elements, test their movement and take part in fun team challenges such as “LEGO curling.” Through these activities, children develop logical thinking, teamwork skills and a basic understanding of how robots function in the real world. Special emphasis is placed on experimentation, learning from mistakes and finding solutions together, with continuous mentors' guidance.
The creative part of the programme includes working with 3D pens, where children design and personalise their own 3D creations. By drawing in three-dimensional space, they develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness and a sense of form, proudly presenting their finished creations and taking them home.
The programme is further enriched by developmentally stimulating activities during breaks, designed to help children maintain energy, focus and a positive atmosphere throughout the day:
Driving simulator – age-appropriate use with short and fun mini challenges
Physical activities and reaction games – jumping, running, endurance activities and games using robots and sensors developed at Robokacija
Escape Room challenges – simple logic puzzles and team-based games that encourage thinking and cooperation
The camp programme is based on learning through play and project-based activities, with a special emphasis on building self-confidence, communication skills and creativity. Children do not learn by memorising, but through hands-on experience and achieving success in small challenges.
At the end of the camp, all participants receive:
a certificate of completion for the Robokacija STEM Junior Camp, their own 3D creations, which they take home as a lasting keepsake and confirmation of the skills they have gained.
Robokacija is a place where children stop simply using technology and start creating it. Through our five-year curriculum and projects ranging from a smart lamp and robots to the Internet of Things, AI, hovercrafts and drones, we build independence (Montessori) alongside structure, hard work and discipline – so that each child truly understands what they are doing and can proudly present their prototype. Ten years of experience, a 5.0 Google rating, industry partners such as Rimac Group and gold medals for children’s innovations confirm: the system works.
