Camp “Happy Children” bears its name because, through play, fun and interaction, it encourages happiness and the well-rounded development of children. By participating in a variety of activities, children naturally develop cognitive, linguistic, social and physical skills. The programme includes digital games such as Digital Escape, where children scan QR codes to solve brain teasers, logic tasks, puzzles and short quizzes independently or in teams, while developing logical thinking, creativity and cooperation.
Traditional outdoor games recall the games once played in Istria and encourage motor skills, coordination, a competitive spirit and teamwork, while sea games in a safe and supervised environment include swimming, team games and water challenges that develop swimming skills, physical activity and confidence in the water.
The programme is well balanced and also includes time for rest and free play, providing children with a full day of play, learning and socialising in a stimulating and safe environment. The children are supervised by two experienced and energetic leaders – Andrea Udovičić, Master of Informatics, and Marina Ružić, Master of Pedagogy. Participation requires children to be intermediate swimmers and to have developed basic motor skills such as running and jumping.
