Overnight Camp
The clarinet camp is intended for candidates of all levels, from beginners to students and young professionals. According to the needs and desires of the participants, we can work on fundamental techniques such as breathing, tone production, intonation, and finger technique.
Students and professionals can master or refine the skill of performing special effects or techniques such as multiphonics, circular breathing, double staccato, slap-tongue, and various register-playing techniques.
For the development of interpretation, participants will prepare pieces from the entire clarinet repertoire, which will be intensively practiced with a pianist collaborator. Chamber ensemble work is also covered as well as pieces written for the instrument without accompaniment, such as concert etudes and solo compositions.

- Important informations
- Accommodation is provided on the premises of the Center. The Center has several student houses (multi-bed dorm rooms with shared bathrooms).
- Participation does not include the price of meals. Meals are provided at special rates for workshop participants on the premises of the International Cultural Center, according to the option(s) selected in the application form.
- The prices are: breakfast: €15; lunch: €22; dinner: €22; full board: €44 per day.
- After the final production, we will organize a gathering and a diploma award ceremony, so please plan your departure from Grožnjan after all events have finished or the following morning.
- Upon arrival to Grožnjan, participants will have to present their passport or ID card, the original application form with a handwritten signature and/or parent's signature (depending on the participant's age), and proof of payment.
- Along with personal items (towel, appropriate clothing for public performances, instrument, music stand), please bring proof of travel insurance.
- Health and safety
Every participant must have travel insurance.
