The Basketball Adventure camp was established under the guidance of esteemed basketball player and NBA scout Danko Cvjetićanin, in partnership with the Basketball Club Novigrad and its coach, Miroslav Nađ. This camp offers a unique summer experience for aspiring young basketball players – not only from Croatia, but also from various parts of Europe. The 2024 camp will be divided into two sessions, each spanning seven days. The first is scheduled for 16–22 June and the second for 6–12 July. All activities will be based at the Sports City Hall in Novigrad. Leading the coaching team is Andrej Tesla, who has exceptional experience in working with young talent. He has mentored numerous celebrated basketball stars including Dario Šarić, Mario Hezonja, Ante Tomić, Kruno Simon, and many others. In addition to regular basketball training, the camp places significant emphasis on education, offering workshops and lectures on topics such as healthy nutrition for athletes, physical conditioning, and mental preparedness in sports. Participants will also engage in special activities, including a trip to an aquapark and a guided tour of Novigrad. Free time between training sessions and lectures will be filled with entertaining content, facilitated by professional camp counselors. Accommodation for camp participants and staff will be provided by the Lanterna Resort, which can also accomodate accompanying individuals, including the parents of participants, if desired.
